Extended freestyles are held on the last Friday of each month at Wigram and every couple of months or so on Wednesdays at Avonhead.
Format of the evening
Similar to a normal class night except there is extra dancing instead of the intermediate class. Social dancing starts after the beginner class.
Music
Freestyles have a wide range of music that gives Modern Jive it's appeal - you can dance to anything! We sometimes have 'flavoured freestyle' at Wigram where the music has a theme for the evening.

Pricing
Below is the general pricing for extended freestyles:
- 1 credit
- $16 standard entry
- $12 concessions
There's one price for the whole evening (no reduced price after 9pm). Good opportunity to warmup in the beginner class and support the newer dancers.
