Tea Dances are held throughout the year usually on the first Sunday of the month between 6 and 8pm. Everybody welcome, it's a lovely vibe with 40 - 70 people from our class nights around Christchurch.
Format of the evening
- We provide tea, coffee with non-dairy milk also available ☕
- Bring a small plate to share - not compulsory but greatly appreciated 🍪 🍰 🧁 🥨
Music
We play a slower more Sunday afternoonish selection of music for smooth dancing and great connection.

Below is the general pricing for tea dances:
- 0.5 credit
- $10 standard entry
- $8 concessions
Venues
Most of our monthly tea dances are held at Avonhead School but occasionally we might have to use a different venue. Check the event before you leave home.
We sometimes have a tea dance as part of a dance weekend.
