Ara Rec Centre, 4 Coventry Street, Central City, Christchurch
Refresh will be held at the recreation and events centre at the Ara Institute of Canterbury | Te Pลซkenga in the central city. Being so close to the city centre there is a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
There are decent changing rooms with showers. While open to the public we're not expecting many other users over the course of the weekend.
Food & drink may be consumed in the hall but only on carpeted areas or on the balcony. No alcohol is permitted.
Entrance and Parking
If you're staying in the central city then you'll probably be entering the Ara campus from the North West. The campus can be a bit of a maze so please where it is in relation to where you are staying.
The entrance to W block is from the North.
There is free weekend parking at Ara. Paid parking is available off Barbadoes St opposite Ara.

Domestic & international visitors: the venue is in a fantastic central city location with accommodation and everything else you need within walking distance.
Ibis Hotel
A modern hotel with a great central city location popular with visiting dancers.
