The Christchurch Modern Jive Championships is one of the most popular Modern Jive competitions in Australasia with a spacious well presented venue that's a favourite with dancers.

We have a 3 day format where you can join us for a day or all three. There's a friendly atmosphere with a great variety of music to suit everyone.
We're back at the Ara Rec Centre with its convenient central city location. There are plenty of hotels, shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all within easy walking distance.

If you're visiting from out of town or even if you're local and want time to recover then we encourage you to maybe include our Champs as part of a mini break or holiday.
Take a day off either before or after and see what is on offer in Christchurch and the surrounding area.
