Fevah Modern Jive

February Newsletter

Hi Everyone,

The year is off to a great start, so far:

  • floor repairs have started at C3
  • great buzz at all nights with lots of new dancers joining us
  • and we've already had two workshops, a tea dance, extended freestyle and a dance party!
As mentioned in the last newsletter and announced at class our new Reward Points programme is starting next week with lots of ways for dancers to earn rewards which can be converted into class credits. See below for more information.

With input from the crew we've updated our Dance Etiquette and DanceSafe information, especially check out our guidelines for Asking, Accepting and now Declining a Dance. Yes that's right folks, there are times when it's ok to say 'No' to a dance, but please check out the guidelines.

We are constantly adding music to our collection, some songs are recently released and help keep us uptodate, others are classics from the past. Let us know if you have any requests.

Keep smiling, keep dancing!
Deb and Matt

NEW Fevah Reward Points

Our current early bird discount misses the chance to reward dancers for a variety of other great things they do, so we are modifying the discount by introducing a rewards system to share the love with more people.

From Monday February 11, 2019, as a member of Fevah Modern Jive you will receive points for doing good things,

1) for yourself - like turning up regularly, getting into a good habit for your health and well-being, as well as creating a fun buzz in the atmosphere

2) for the community - like introducing someone new to classes, or when Fevah fanatics (those who have done 20 classes or more already) join the beginners class at the start, or volunteers going on a roster to put out or put away the chairs.

You will then be able to exchange points for credits to get things like classes, parties or freestyles for free. We even hope to produce some Fevah merchandise that could also be earned through rewards if you prefer.

Check out the Reward Points flyer at class to see how many points you will be able to earn and exchange for free stuff.
